Good for bedding and balcony plants

Planting campaign with our CN winter grit

What do you do with your leftover grit from the winter?
The last winter season is just over. What to do with the rest of the anti-skid grit that’s left? Of course it also depends on what kind of grit is left over.

Do you use salt, grit or sand?
In many parts of Germany, e.g. Hamburg, the use of road salt has already been banned. But the same question arises for the others, too: where can you put it or what can it be used for? Normally most people store it in the cellar, garage or garden shed until the next winter.

Or do you use CN anti-skid grit made of crushed light expanded clay aggregate?
If so, then congratulations, because now you can really get down to work in the Spring and don’t need to worry about storing your leftover grit any more. Our anti-skid grit is a multi-purpose product. Simply sweep the traces of the last winter into the flowerbed and improve the soil structure.

No matter where you want to plant something, be it on the balcony, patio or in your garden, create you own, personal outdoor realm to make it individual and beautiful.

Our CN anti-skid grit (made up of 2 – 4 mm crushed light expanded clay aggregate) is not only an excellent, salt-free, natural and thus environmentally friendly winter grit, but also an excellent and professional planting substrate and soil structure improvement material.

Our tip:

No matter whether it is for balcony or potted plants or for your flower bed, it doesn’t take a lot to create long-lasting so-called permanent earth. All you need are two components, some good quality potting soil, or the soil from your flower bed, mixed with approx. 20 – 40 % CN anti-skid grit.

In a matter of seconds you have excellent permanent earth, which not only remains structurally stable for several years and is easily wetted at any time, but also regulates the soil’s water and oxygen supply to the plants almost entirely on its own. Of course your newly potted plant also needs some water and fertiliser occasionally.

We wish you every success!
