After last year’s mild start to the winter, January is now revealing its true cold and icy self. As so often before, winter and all its associated problems come on very suddenly and surprisingly.
That’s no problem if homeowners and property managers have stockpiled suitable winter grit in advance. As frequently reported in the media, scattering of salt is now strictly prohibited in many places for environmental reasons.
