Even though we have enjoyed some beautiful warm weather in the past few days, it is likely to turn autumnal here soon, and once autumn has arrived it won’t be long until winter is upon us, with everything that comes with it. The range of winter products is constantly growing in the shops and although there is always a risk that the impending winter may take us all by surprise, we can nevertheless be well prepared for the treacherous ice that comes with the cold weather. Our product,
CN anti-skid grit – made of 2 – 4 mm Leca® crushed expanded clay
is the ideal solution if you want salt-free and natural anti-skid grit, and it is in increasing demand. In recent years an increasing number of towns and local councils in Germany have started requiring the use of salt-free grit, not least due to new legislation.
Other countries such as Slovakia, Austria and Finland, already set a good example by introducing this green trend years ago. There, alternative gritting agents, like expanded clay have already been in use for some time. The use of CN anti-skid grit by local councils, regional winter road maintenance services and end consumers ensures that paths are gritted and kept safe with a natural product.
Combat black ice and make the most of this CN product’s benefits, e.g.:
• Environmentally friendly, salt-free and without any chemical additives
• Natural, protects trees and shrubs
• ery economical, a 50 l sack is sufficient to grit a surface area of approx. 750 m²
• Low weight, a 50 l sack only weighs approx. 14 kg

CN anti-skid grit is available in a wide range of forms, be it packed in a 50 litre sack, in a 1 or 2.5 m³ BigBag or loose in a silo/dumper truck or a walking floor vehicle. The choice is yours!
